Warm Boho

Layered textiles, lived-in wood, plants with intention.

Coastal Calm

Washed linen, sea-glass color, light that feels like late morning.

Eclectic Maximalist

Collected art, mixed eras, one repeating color to keep it coherent.

Rustic Farmhouse

Raw wood, stone, cream walls, and useful objects left in view.

Furniture and shopping checklist

  • Name the feeling you want the room to create in one sentence.
  • Photograph the room at noon and at night before you move anything.
  • Clear surfaces first. Keep three objects that earn their place.
  • Choose one hero color and two supporting neutrals.
  • Move seating so conversation — not the television — is the center.
  • Add one textile layer: rug, throw, or curtains. Not all three at once.
  • Finish with light: a lamp at eye level and a warmer bulb than you think.

Mood board in four moves

  1. Open the Mood Board Builder and name the room.
  2. Drop in two photos of rooms that feel like the mood you want — not the furniture you can buy today.
  3. Add your four palette colors from the Color Matcher.
  4. Write one sentence at the top: “This room should feel ______.” Save or export it.
